THE CONCEPT

In early 2005 we began concepting a plan to create an integrated learning environment that would stimulate the mind, offer classes that would improve the health of the body, and provide a community atmosphere that would encourage exploration of diverse perspectives on the renewal of the spirit.

THE PLAN

The Concept moved into East West Exchange business plan in late 2006 and we then started exploring locations.

THE LOCATION

We considered several locations and eventually found the ideal location at 2051 W Warner Road, Chandler, AZ in January, 2007

East West Exchange will open in early September 2007 after major renovations are completed. Our spaces will include:

• Books and Gifts - 2500 square feet of retail space devoted to nonfiction books and fair trade and imported gift items.
• Practice Rooms - 1600 square feet of practice space for yoga, tai chi, and meditation.
• Event Space - 1600 square feet of multi- purpose space for weekly special events and community activity.
• Coffee / Tea Lounge - Curl up with a book, unwind after practice, or meet people before or after events in our coffee /tea lounge
